Your growth problem is really behavior problem. I find it — and I stay until it moves.
Hello, I’m Macala Rose, a Seattle-based fractional growth strategist who lives at the intersection of behavior, data and algorithms. I love to understand what makes people act. I read how your customers actually decide, build the measurement systems that proves it, and we build strategies take make them take action.
How I think about growth
I’ve designed strategy across Hollywood, food, fashion, live events and wellness. I don’t carry a scattered resume — it’s more of a controlled experiment in what actually generalizes. Patterns are patterns, and the ones that predict human behavior look remarkably similar whether you’re selling a film, a heifer, or a handbag.
I approach strategy differently
I study how people decide. What moves them, what stalls them, what they tell themselves about the choice after they’ve already made it. I turn it into strategy your team can actually run on — not a frame or deck that find a grave in a shared drive.
I’m not precious about being right, but I’m relentless about being accurate, which is a different and far more useful thing. My insights will show you where to focus, tell you what to stop doing, and what to start doing. Yes, that’s the expensive part, what you think vs. what’s actually true — but it’s also the whole point.
